I loved it immediately: a perfect combination of art and technology. My father bought me my first serious camera, a Pentax Spotmatic F SLR, in 1970 and I learned to shoot and develop film. I became the Photo Editor of the University of Wisconsin Post where I was studying journalism. Much later I collected digital devices as they developed and improved, mastered Photoshop, and created portraits of children and families with archival printers.
